The Daughters of Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard-Carey nee Lowell

Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard-Carey nee Lowell had five daughters - three daughters with Lord Andrew Charles and one daughter with Lord Richard William Carey and  one with Lord Charles Andrew Howard III.

Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann’s eldest daughter is Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane Howard born May 1, 2275, followed by Lady Samhain Wilhelmina Charlene Howard, Duchess of Clarence Territory, born on October 31, 2276, Lady Caroline Matilda Carey, born on June 17, 2282, Lady Sophia Dorothea Howard, Duchess of Gloucester Territory who was born on March 21, 2285 followed by Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard on May 1, 2295.

All the sisters were very close to each other despite the fact they had different fathers as they shared the same mother, Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard-Carey nee Lowell.

Each daughter would help bring change to Star Base 12 when their time and change would come when Lady Elizabeth became Duchess of Norfolk Territory and she declared and decreed that if a mother only wanted to leave her property to her female descendants it would be allowed and no sons would be able to claim their mother’s title and property.

Lady Elizabeth didn’t forget her sister, Lady Anastasia Christina Howard who was her sister through her father, Lord Andrew Charles Howard and Lady Theresa Hardwick.

Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard had a brother, Lord Charles Andrew Howard IV and they shared the same father, Lord Charles Andrew Howard III but different mothers.

Lady Caroline Matilda had a brother, Lord Benjamin Lawrence Carey, and they shared the same mother and father.

Lady Elizabeth when she became Duchess of Norfolk Territory in 2299 declared that matrilineal primogeniture was legal and lawful.

It would pave the way for women’s rights on Star Base 12 and throughout the many territories on Star Base 12 and later on it would spread to other Star bases throughout the Federation of Planets.

Those territories that didn’t want to embrace had to adopt the rule of absolute primogeniture where it stated the first born child regardless of the sex would inherit the title and property from his/her father and no younger brother could ever replace his eldest sister.

Lady Samhain, Lady Caroline Matilda, Lady Sophia Dorothea, and Lady Karissa Elizabeth along with Lady Katherine Beck nee Grey all adopted the matrilineal primogeniture rule to their territories, but Norfolk, Lancaster, York, Albany, Essex, and Langley adhered to the rule of absolute primogeniture. 

Lady Autumn Bridget adopted the rule of matrilineal Primogeniture to her territory of Cambridge and Lord Edward Seymour adopted the rule of absolute primogeniture to Somerset Territory as did Lady Alexandrina Howard nee Stuart to the territory of Lennox.

Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane allowed those territories to adopt either one, but no longer were younger sons were going to replace their eldest sister from her rights of inheritance and title just because she was a female.

Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane stated in a proclamation over Norfolk Territory “ I find it detestable that daughters are treated as second class citizen on Star Base 12 and I am Duchess of Norfolk Territory by right and inheritance  as the eldest great-grandchild of Lord Charles Andrew Howard Senior, eldest great-great-grandchild of Lord Frederick William Howard and eldest great-great-great-grandchildren of Lord Patrick William through the paternal line.”

“There have been many great women rulers throughout history - Elizabeth I of England, Kosem Sultana, Empress Catherine I and II of Russia, Empress Elizabeth of Russia, Empress Elizabeth of Austria, and Queen Victoria of England.” Lady Elizabeth states.

“Four of these women ushered the dawn of a new age in their countries and made a difference.” Lady Elizabeth tells her people.

“Daughters have the same rights as their brothers.” Lady Elizabeth states, “ No one is going to deprive a daughter again.” 

Lady Karissa stood in the background with Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory, and Lord Andrew Charles Howard along with Lord Charles Andrew Howard III and Lord Patrick William Howard II.

Lady Elizabeth held up her three year old daughter “ This is your future Duchess of Norfolk Territory and the future Duchess of Wessex Territory and her name is Lady Karissa Ann Howard and she is the eldest great-great-great-great-granddaughter of Lord Patrick William Howard.” 

“My husband, Lord Richard Edward Howard III is Lord Patrick William Howard’s great-great-great-grandson.” Lady Elizabeth tells her people.

Lady Samhain is there with Lord David William Beck II, along with Lady Caroline Matilda, Lord Anthony Christopher and Lady Alexandrina Charlene, Lord Albert Edward, Lady Sophia Dorothea, Lady Anastasia Christina, Lord Benjamin Lawrence, and Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard along with Lord Frederick William Howard III, Lord Thomas William Howard.

 

Lady Karissa smiled along with Lord Andrew Charles and Lord Richard William Carey.

“You must have done something right when you raised Lady Elizabeth.” Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.

“I tried to raise our children with integrity, pride, and be humble.”Lady Karissa tells him.

“Lady Elizabeth was difficult but she came out fine after she married Lord Richard Edward Howard III.” Lady Karissa admits.

“I only wish that Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR had been here today to see Lady Elizabeth become Duchess.” Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.

“Dad would have been so proud of Lady Elizabeth.” Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.

“Lady Elizabeth was his pride and joy. You would have thought he gave birth to her.” Lord Andrew Charles says with a laugh.

“Your father loved Lady Elizabeth.” Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.

“Dad loved all of his grandchildren.” Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.

“I only wish that my brothers had done their job in the beginning.” Lord Andrew Charles states, “I have no regrets as I wasn’t going to let what my great-great-grandfather started go down the drain.” 

“Lord Patrick William Howard came here with little or nothing and established Star Base 12.” Lord Andrew Charles states.

“I gave you five children  to make sure that what Lord Patrick William Howard started here in 2158 doesn’t die.” Lady Karissa states, along with Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard who is also his great-great-great-granddaughter through your oldest brother, Lord Charles Andrew Howard III and his son, Lord Charles Andrew Howard IV it will continue as well with what  Lady Sophia Charlotte Howard with Lord William Carey won’t die.” 

Lady Karissa looks at Lord Charles Andrew Howard III and she tells Lord Andrew Charles, “My biggest fear is that your brother won’t be alive to walk his daughter up the aisle.” 

“Our little Lady Karissa is only 4 years old now. “ Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.

“Lady Karissa is my niece and I will make sure that she is taken care of along with you.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

“If my brother is not here. I will walk her up the aisle.” Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.

“I know that your father was close to 90 when he died but your oldest brother is 69 years old.” Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.

“Lady Karissa has Lord Patrick William II and she has four brothers who adore her.” Lord Richard William tells Lady Karissa.

“I am sure that Lord Anthony or Lord Charles Andrew Howard IV will escort her up the aisle if she asks one of them.” Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.

“My oldest brother is a tough old bird, Lady Karissa.” Lord Andrew Charles states.

Lord Charles Andrew III was born in 2230 and my father was 22 years old when he was born and my mother was 20 years old when he was born.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard III holds his daughter, Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard and he kisses her “ Here is my pearl of a great price.”  Lord Charles Andrew Howard III exclaims.

Lady Karissa smiles and so does Lord Andrew Charles and Lord Richard William Carey as they all happy to see Lord Charles Andrew Howard III happy and next to him is his 14 year old son, Lord Charles Andrew Howard IV who is holding his little sister’s hand.

Lord Richard William Carey holds Lord Benjamin Lawrence and Lady Caroline Matilda “ Here is my heiress, Lady Caroline Matilda and Lord Benjamin who is Duke of Langley Territory.” Lord Richard William exclaims.

Lady Elizabeth with Lord Richard Edward III carries Lady Karissa Ann and they say “ Here is the next Duchess of Norfolk and Wessex Territory.” 

Lady Karissa is surrounded by the three men she had children with  and her children and Lady Karissa smiles and Lord Charles Andrew Howard III, Lord Andrew Charles and Lord Richard William Carey all gather around all of their children, “ Mine, Our’s and Yours” as Lady Karissa calls them.

Lady Karissa calls Lady Theresa to bring 13 year old Lady Anastasia Christina over and Lord Andrew Charles picks her up and states “Here is the Duchess of Northampton Territory.” 

Lady Theresa smiles and Lady Elizabeth walks over to her sister, Lady Anastasia Christina and she kisses her.

Lady Elizabeth states “It doesn’t matter who our mother, or father is as we are all descendants of Lord Patrick William Howard and Lady Margaret Devereux.”

Lord David William Beck SR smiles with Lady Katherine and his son, Lord David William Beck II and Lady Davina Edwina Beck and by Lord David William Beck II side is Lady Samhain Wilhelmina Charlene Howard-Beck, Duchess of Clarence Territory.

All of them are descendants of Lord Patrick William Howard and Lady Margaret Devereux through their eldest son, Lord Frederick William Howard and Lady Jeanette Virginia Beaufort and one of their four children, Lord Frederick William Howard II, Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR, Lady Sophia Charlotte Howard or Lord Andrew Charles Howard.
